i think people like me might do better with a call out of specific issues you have with his policy.

Cut off all foreign aid to Israel & to Arabs

Get out of South Korea and let two Koreas unify

Stop interfering with Latin America; talk & trade instead

He thinks that being 'friendly' is going to solve third world problems. Ron Paul has lived in the "Greatest Nation" for too long. He thinks that if america steps out of its peace keeping roles that the world's people will speak with hearts and rainbows in their eyes.

Thats not going to be the case. Id like to have all of our troops at home, i really would. Only problem with that, is the job they are doing needs to be done. Not to mention, many of them would be out of a job if they came home. Wheres Ron Paul's economic plan to deal with the layoff of hundreds of thousands of military personnel.

The man is stupid, and if he got elected he couldnt make anything he is proposing happen. All the changes his libertarian ideals hit on are balanced by congress...who so far...dont agree with his point of view.

the layoff won't happen....

first, a lot of the men over there are reservists. they want to come home and go back to their one weekend a month thing.
second, we need those reservists home. There have been countless mayors/governors who have complained of not having the man power to deal with things like the cali wildfires, the kansas tornadoes, and so forth.

What's wrong with latin america?
and joining the two koreas would be a good thing. hell, they've been in talks to do just that without us already.

the arabs have so much money, they don't need us. Do i need to link to the cast silver car or gold plated house??? The gov't doesn't need our money... the people there do. And frankly, that's the people's fault. they should overthrow their own govt like we did 240 odd years ago.

show me one of those houses in israel. and do you think that the reservists jobs will be waiting for them when they come back? there is a loophole to rehiring those who have been called up for active duty...and believe me, every company on the planet knows what it is.

ron paul's foreign policy stance is wonderful...if we lived in a Utopian society....but since we dont, its just not going to work. B, you were the last one id think would buy in to this idealogical bullshit. At least some of the candidates operate in the real world (read john mccain).

McCain doesnt have the most popular policies, but at least they will minimize the damage this country will face from the wanning economy. I dont see anything coming from the democratic camp that could actually happen...its kinda sad too...cause i dont wanna vote republican a SECOND time.

i have some 'just wondering' questions.

like, what impact has having 150,000+ americans overseas where they can't spend their paychecks had on our economy?

and why is it up to us (america) to maintain a presence in all of these countries to ensure their democratic/wtfe process, when ours suffers? maybe we went to some of these places to effect a change, but why are we in maintenance mode?

we've maintained a larger-than-necessary presence in several countries which borders on occupation. why don't we just politely ask a few of the strategically placed nations if we can keep a fuel depot open there or resupply, but not man the things like we're planning ww3?

ron paul is for investing in our infrastructure again as it is falling incredibly out of date and is antiquated; not all of this is pouring concrete; there's a lot of technological advancement required to get us even close to some middle-class european infrastructure. why aren't more americans on board with ron paul and this home-centered improvement plan?

urgh. i think he makes great sense. america is due for a political revolution. a fine tuning. a serious disturbance of stagnant policy.

bring on the change. ron paul seems to be the most energetic advocate for change i've seen. obama is also an advocate for some serious change, but i'm not sure i'm a fan of his mostly-socialist approach. the world needs to take care of itself for awhile, and we need to take care of us.

and last, i love the presidential veto power. f- congress, they won't get crap past a president that doesn't want it to pass. there'll be compromise eventually...or at least an understanding. i wish everyone wouldn't be so quick to :blah: about RP.

i'm ok with him not getting the nomination though; because one way or another, america's headed for serious change and ultimately a form of revolution. with him it'd be a little more guided than the complete falling apart that our country's been experiencing on our current self-destruct path.

our country is not ready for the change he has to offer...and it could ultimately bring us down.

im under no illusions as to why we are in most of the countries we 'occupy'. We have a vested interest in converting middle eastern nations over to our form of democracy. Then we have a say in how the country is run, and ultimately, who its allies and enemies are.

believe me...there are bigger things comming our way than israel, iraq and iran can even hope to muster. Putin is doing a damn fine job rebuilding russia, and that can only mean bad things for us.

By being in the middle east we have a strategic, non-mainland presence in the region. Its in our best interest.

Obama and Hillary want "change" for the better, unfortunately that means a democratic "change". Think gun control, illegal immigrants and useless spending is bad now? Just wait if those two get elected.

So...who here in MA is voting tomorow?

I'd love to vote Ron Paul, but he really has no chance in winning. Romney gets my vote.

Romney is worse than obama if you ask me.

he fucked your state up.... i can't believe you like him.

correction, you're not even a state... you're a commonwealth

I'd vote McCain if I thought he had a chance of getting the nomination, but too may hard line republicans think hes too "liberal" and too many liberals won't vote for him because hes too conservative. Juliani is a joke and like I said, although I love what Ron P stands for he has no hope of winning.

oh man romney is the damn devil, imho. he's the typical slimy politician. ugh. man seriously, i can't believe people fall for his crap.

juli already dropped out of the race... pay attention :D

mcCain... god i hope not. i'd vote obama over him.... and see above about my obama remarks.

although I love what Ron P stands for he has no hope of winning.

its this thought process that is going to keep him out of the race and is the #1 down fall of american society in terms of voting Vote for what you beleive in... not for what you think 'has a chance because the media says so'

whats wrong with McCain? I feel like he is the moderate president that this country needs. The only thing I don't like is that he's old as hell.
