Cuz he acts like a four year old and gets away with it? We should all be so lucky.

I was going though photos of when I was 20. They are printed on paper from my 35mm.

I was going to scan them in, so I dug out my SCSI scanner.

Then I forgot I had no 2940 card in my machine anymore, so I opened up a computer in the basement to pull it out.

It was my old P666, dual 333 with (gasp!) 512 meg of ram.

Then I realised my new machine doesn't have ISA slots at all.

So that's my blast from the past. My daily life.

The 2940 is a PCI card.

:lmao:

I was going to point that out! All the 2940s were PCI.

BUT... I do have a working 2940UW and a working 2940U2W if anyone wants them. Got a few Advansys Ultra cards too (50 pin int/ext only).

Rik Mayall was "Fred" ? Holy shit, I didn't know that ! He was "Rik" on The Young Ones.

That's a blast from the past, but prolly not in the US so much.

TV Shows:

Space 1999
Battlestar Galatica
The Courtship of Eddie's Father
The Brady Bunch
The Adventures of Superman (black and white version with George Reeves)
Ultraman
Bionic Man & Bionic Woman

Toys:
Stretch Armstrong
Rock'm Sock'm Robots

(sfx: crickets, blank stares from the rest of the forum)

Yup. I guess I'm the oldest one here.

Are you? I remember Stretch Armstrong, and I already thought it was pretty lame when I was growing up- I might be older than you. ;)

By the way, diving rocks. :)

Bionic man!!! I used to love that show...don't remember much of it cuz I was little, but I do remember watching it! I didn't like Bionic Woman so much though...
Fuck the Brady Bunch. Hmmm...Battlestar Galatica, not a big fan. Unless there's an old, old version of that too....

Yeah, there's an "old version."

Starring: Dirk Benedict and Lorne Greene

Lorne Greene was the guy on Bonanza....Bonanza, you know? Hoss? Little John? Nevermind.

(grabs his walker and heads back to his b&w TV with rabbit ears and rotating channel changer)

I have never been so amazed as when I've been diving. I know people love reefs, wrecks, etc. But off southwest FL, there are more than a few "bare" spots. Just start looking and you'll be amazed at what is out there when there is nothing out there.

Calesta - you're 30? I was a senior when you started first grade. :D

Very nice! You've got 10-11 years on me then. ;)

Don't want to go too far off topic... but yeah- I love all the stuff I've seen while diving. I got to dive a wall in Jamaica, and the view down past 200 feet is absolutely amazing. I'm glad I had good BCD control!

Thanks - I can't even remember half the toys, tv shows, movies I know I watched. I was surprised nobody mentioned the Brady Bunch, but I guess there's the generation gap.

OMG!! One other undisturbed synapse just fired - lunchboxes!! I had so many, but the one that stands out the most was one that was just like a mailbox. The other kids at school always asked me if I had any mail for them. grrrrrr
