Come up to my buddies shop in RI w/$900 and we'll bang it out...$800 if you just want to take it, the extra $100 I'd give to my buddy for letting me use the shop and I'm sure he'd give me a hand

lol poor B. Life: never enough hours in the day or dollars in the bank.

I'm pretty sure that clutch was sold a long time ago... . he had it on the GC fb group. I haven't followed up but at the time I didn't have the money. I assume its gone.

There's been a LOT of people have problems with clutches, expect one brand. And that's not the brand that seems to work for everyone. They are losing starters and stuff due to bad teeth matching's. At the same time, not many of those exist due to its price so it may be fine.

Either way, I just paid for my vacation rental on the lake, so i'm broke again.... and its once again a non-issue because I can't do a thing about it. The car is still totally driveable. It just doesn't like more than 50% throttle in 4th + gears.

I like the evo. But it just doesn't get the mileage I demand. or the tank size to make it a week without filling up 3 times. My buddy has a XI MR with a cobb upgrade and its bad ass. he's eyeing a GTR now. Maybe i'll buy it off him later.... I dunno. its a flappy pedal gear box. will take some getting used to.
Do you mean a X? They make them in a 6 speed manual too you know. I was thinking more along the CT9A route, much more affordable than a X MR.

Fucking LOVE this.

i'm surprised its still available at that price...the car KBB's at around 20k by itself..let alone the Supercharger install...never been a HUGE fan of mustangs but they have come along way..i as definitely rock this one

Yeah, this car had some catching up to do - the interior materials weren't the best, but the car itself is balanced and competent. Even the solid rear axle never gave me issue, it corners very, very well.

This was my choice before finding the BMW. Unfortunately, they do NOT lose value. Ever. Shit, 05s are only like $3000 cheaper than they were new.

yeah, 10, sorry.

what is a ct9a?

how many RWD cars with power are DD's? Im sure you can name a small handful but out of the 1000's of different cars out there, its a very small percent.

I'm assuming this would not be a DD since he has the truck for bad weather.

The only downfall is that it is a two seater...but to me thats a perk, you won't have to drive everyone around when you go out :p

Ohhh... I forgot he had a truck too. Hell. I was trying to name single-car solutions. Since he doesn't have to have a back seat or rear doors, I'd recommend (if fixing the Genesis is just too icky even when short on money) an NB Miata with an LS series V8 swap. Cheap, reliable, and obscenely fun.

Both my primary vehicles are RWD and 6 speed with more than enough power to get in tons of trouble, and I definitely treat them as daily drivers. Late oil changes, city traffic, no bath, etc.

the truck has no brakes. I need to get it fixed.

Get it fixed? Sounds like you don't like fixing anything anymore. Maybe fix it yourself? Way cheaper than going to a shop.

its on my list to fix. There's just always something else more important every time i have the extra cash. i'm not touching that thing myself. its a pile of rust and will end up breaking everything that a wrench hits.

yeah i hear ya....

My AC didn't work 3 weeks ago when i turned it on...un fucking real.....got ripped off $500 from one AC guy...i'll be braking his legs soon...filed Police report and he has a warrant out for his...that's a whole other story...got it fixed yesterday but this whole thing ended up costing me $1200...there goes my bathroom downstairs idea right down the toilet...PUN INTENDED

They look like a squished 3 series to me... Not that I wouldn't mind having one.
