Imagine that, the steering wheel is missing screws.

Can you count how many screws the steering wheel is missing?

ok the dogbone and drivers mount are just oem replacement mounts, but the front cross-member mount and trans mounts are solid mounts made for the 5 speed trans out of the 83, which I will still be happy to take pictures of tomorrow
so when you said you had solid mounts, that was just bs. right ? because the 83 civic does not have solid mounts.

I really dig the mismatched gauges. Totally nails the "dickskate special" look. And those sunglasses aren't douchey at all in case you were wondering.

^ Didn't even notice the dorky shades. I was in fact wondering what that piece of shit is that appears to hanging off the rear view mirror???

A Druid Phallic symbol?

Air fresheners hanging, and im changing from analog to digital one at a time, i work 70+ a week and dont get to spend a crazy amount of time on the car, and no shit sherlock holmes 83s didnt have solid mounts stock, but to mount the gen2 trans in the gen 1 chassis brackets had to be made , (pre swap mount companys) get off my dick cockshiner

It won't work unless you have the angle drive distributor.. Unless you use the 36's
Justin and I were talking of making an adapter to run a 3g carb'd distributor off the other side of the cam freeing up lots of room.
but that was back in the early 90s.

I think I still have the carbs and intake up in the attic.
I still have a stroker 1200 that I never installed in my '78.

On these older engines, it will still run with that many teeth off. The distributor has gear teeth to mesh into the cam's gear.
If you're not "IN", or a tooth or two off with the distributor, you are going to be way off searching why it won't idle, accelerate, etc..
Needless to say that it's a vacuum advance that's probably not holding, therefore not advancing correctly or at all.

Remember, that 32/36 was probably set up for a larger engine. Try getting some smaller jets and maybe lowering the float a bit.
From the back of that car, it looks like you're only getting about 15-19mpg. You should be more in the high-20's.

What trans did that 5spd come from? Civic or Accord? (what's on the gold tag by the timing hole/slot?)

You looking for 'parts'? PM me your number. I'm just under Memphis. OR if you want to sell.

you are a lying pos, its sad really a grown man that lies, specially over the stupidest stuff.and ive washed and even drove some cvcc so i know some things about them  and im done/unsubscribed.

Its got 5 speed out of a 83 wagon, and its got a allison distributor thats electronic advance, and the vehicle does not produce carbon buildup on the back since i got it in time and changed all the seals , the dizzy oring used to leak down on the exhaust and make it smoke, and its not a cvcc its a 1200, car used to have a weber side draft and cannon intake that the head was port matched for, it is stroked and cammed also , im going to tackle changing valve stem seals next then finish the digital gauges, then wide band and different intake/carb setup , been trying for months now to track fown another side draft intake (got stole off the car in 93)

meh, I know its a stupid easy fix, but been like that since before I got it

How is the fact that it was like that since before you got it preventing you from fixing a ridiculously easy thing to fix?

I mean it would honestly be simple as taking one out, going to ace hardware, and getting 2 more or another matching set, i just dont ever think about it being at work 7:30am-7pm all week
