I think that's it! The TB that came with the d15b I don't think has that little metal thing for the charcoal canister hose to clamp onto. And there's another tiny one on the tb?
EDIT: by the way, what's the other tiny metal thing on the front right of the intake manifold?
I recently put a D15B vtec into my 1992 Honda Civic. The problem is that it is a Japanese engine into it and I have an American ecu with american components. I runs very rich and goes trough way too much gas ~12mpg no joke!!!. I still need to set the timing right but what could cause it to go through so much gasI love my honda but it is running rough and wouldn't want to drive anything else but with gas over $3 a gallon i need some help.

While your at it, take off and clean the iacv and fitv (idle valves). They get gunked up and mess with the idle. Do a google search, theres some good writeups on it.

So I shouldn't be using the manifold from my d15b7? That's what it sounds like it's choking or running lean. And my d15b manifold's fine it's just that it doesn't have the extra vacuum port on the TB which really made a difference.
Maybe I should put the d15b manifold back on and just switch TB's? But the TB looks like it doesn't come off the IM. There's like a bolt on it with no head or nut.
