Creating More Boost

My friend has a mitsubishi eclipse turbo and he wants to get a turbo upgrade...if he wanted to run 18psi what would you need to put into the engine

I am thinking pistons and rods but not totally sure.

It depends on the turbo he is going to use. The 1g's have a 14g on them and the 2g has the 13g on em. Look in the article area's, i believe there are some specs in there. You need to do fuel upgrades.. Plenty of ppl have ran from 15-18psi on 14g turbo's with stock internals, but its all about tuning. What model is it? GS-T or GSX?
