Yeah, that would be faster...
wh wouldnt you just by te conversion harness from rywire, get an obd1 dizzy, ecu and call it a day?
I'm in no hurry to get this 91 si hatch running. I went lookin for a new hood for my rex and came home with the 91 w/o a motor for $300. a local guy wrecked his 95 ex and sold me the D16Z6 and tranny for $200 (So I didn't need an OBD1 dizzy) got an si cable trans w/a brand new cluth in the box for $50.
It's just an extra project, i'll try something new and try to keep it cheap.
I got time...
the jumper harness and converting the ecu, aren't all that hard. I'm into the ecu and jumper harness about $70
$25 for the ecu at the junk yard
$16 for the chip kit and
$20 for the ecu conversion kit.
+ $8 for shipping
Instead of $80-$120 for a chipped P28 and
$50-$100 for a jumper harness.
I'm actually surprised how cheap this is working out... Takes a lot of fucking time to research everything since I'm used to gm and ford.
But couldn't resist getting me a honda...
So, anyone have any suggestions for a good, budget Header?
Right now I have a 91 D15 stock manifold on it just for start-up(it'll through an O2 heater circuit code, but should start just fine)
