So like... My mom sent me a $50 gift card to Home Depot... SWEET!

Not really... I've been to Home Depot TWICE, and spent a total of $12... First time I went... Couldn't find anything I really NEEDED... Sure there were tools and stuff I wanted to buy... But nothing I really needed...

2nd trip... I figured I can at least replace the annoying failing light switches for the living room & outside light... So I bought some rocker light switches & a plate for them... $12... Whoopdie doo...

I want to turn a cabinet & drawers I have into a pantry... Thats about $75-$100... But don't have the desire to cut, sheetrock, build shelves, etc right now... I also want to redo my countertop.. Thats $100... But don't have a full day to submit to it..

How can it be this difficult to spend $50 at Home Depot!

it's actually hard unless your redoing something, then you spend a lot more then 50 bucks.

I used to go to HD and only spend $2 sometimes even $10, and it wasn't because I was being cheap. I got what I needed and was done.

I have about $90 left on my homedepot card from last christmas. I simply forget the card whenever I go out.

But it's odd that I spend as much money there as you guys, and I rent.

B... I was like that for awhile... I'd go into Home Depot to spend $5, and end up spending $100...

I mean they had a kickass deal on some MitreSaws... but like.. I dont need one NOW... And those will always be on sale... I wanted the Ryobi $25 bench grinder... But they were sold out...

I was gonna buy the Dremel kit that was on sale for $60... But once again, I didnt need it right now...

I'm still thinkin about going back and getting the tiny Portable Air Compressor for $90... It was like a 3 gallon...

just find out the terms on the card, its prob good for at least a year, and i don't think they charge fees

just keep it for when shit breaks...
a few broken light switches and other random things and you'll use it up...

yeah, thats what i'll probably end up doing... But I want to spend it... :p

well...I have a 5hp 13 gallon Air compressor that I might sell cheap...$100 sound good  ...I bought it new for $300 a few years ago...use it alot...and it still works just the same as when I bought it..even Celerity borrowed it just the other day for a few weeks...very portable

since I'll be getting the 60 gallon AC...I'll prolly not need the small one anymore... and I can use your $100 to help wire the garage for the larger compressor

and use that card when you buy something big...it can cover the taxes on the item you buy.

Campbell hausfeld 5hp 13gal 5.5scfm@90psi blue and on wheels

It's a nice little unit...I've used it a few times, and we did his whole roof with that thing...Pretty handy and works well...definitely worth $100...

Pansey.

Go buy a tool. I have tons of tools and could still use more tools. If you can't find something to buy for $50.00 then there's something wrong with ya.

Clayton... Consider it sold. Let me know when your ready to sell... You gonna deliver it my way? Maybe take a casino trip?

And Jeffie... Sure i COULD have bought lots of tools... But there was nothing i NEED right now... I could have bought the MitreSaw... But it will just gather dust for months until I actually need it... So I didn't buy it. Same with the palm sander I was going to buy... Or the dremel kit... Or the Circular saw that was on sale... Or the Drill Press...

dude, just buy the ryobi kit with the table saw. it has everything it looks like you want minus the dremel stuff.....

You mean the Ryobi 18v cordless kit? I won't buy one, because I already have the drill & flashlight... Which i paid $29 for... Black Friday ROCKS!

yeah, but they have one with the tablesaw and all kinds of crap.

and having two drills is never a bad thing...

the one+ system rocks :)

I was thinking about taking next Sat off to go hit Mohi...since I'll have a little cash to play with finally....So I guess I could bring it up there....

And I have a huge drill press as well...but I just got it...and I'm not sure I'll sell it yet...hehe

I'll be looking for a large Chop saw and a Mig or tig welder soon...so I can really build up some funky exhausts...and the supertrap muffler I bought like back in July finally came...so the Z will get a full 3" exhaust when I get back to building it up for next spring.

I have a Mig and a Tig now, wait for me to get setup with more Mig stuff, and have at it.

I would also like the pipe practice if you want me to simply do it. But you gotta be careful with a Trapp man, real careful.

B... I already have like 4 drills... I have a corded DeWalt, a 4aa B&D for the tiny shit, a 7.2v VersaPack b&d for the simple around the house stuff, the 18v Ryobi for the big stuff...

Wanna hit up the buffet maybe when you come up with the compressor? Maybe i'll see about droppin the kid off with Grandpa, and bring the wife along too...

Lemme know a timeframe...
