So here's the deal. My uncle is selling a 1992 Accord 4dr EX. Its maroon, with 150k on it. Completely stock except for the deck in the car. Automatic, sunroof, power windows, locks, etc. The car has no mechanical problems. Drives great. The exterior looks pretty good. Theres a few rock chips here and there, and some door dings. The car has been in an accident, but was not totaled. Insurance covered the repairs and the car was repaired by a professional bodyshop. The repair looks good. I can't even tell it happened. A lady t-boned him in a parking lot. She hit him right in the passenger side rear door (hit part of the door, and part of the quarter panel).
The interior is fairly clean. There are some stains, and the driver's side seat has some wear on the bolster. Everything works, and it clearly has not been abused.
KBB for this car (high private party value, in excellent shape) is 2615, good is 2265, and fair is 1865. My uncle is asking $2500.
The brakes, timing belt, and master cylinder were all just serviced by the same mechanic that does all the major work on my dad's car.
Thoughts? Opinions? I'm just not too sure on the price really. I'm really set on getting the car, what do you guys think I should offer (I haven't made an offer yet)?
