Naw, I wouldn't say that. Trust me, I have my days where I wish I had a stock Honda again, those are usually the days where I'm also throwing tools across the shop

We definitely need to get a meet together though. I assume mine is probably faster in a straight line, but who knows, throw a few curves in there and everything changes

lol, I do know the limits of my car. Just haven't got it down yet with this new suspension, its kind of wierd. Chad has some dough into the handling on his EG, I'm pretty sure that thing can corner like a sombitch

And I love smoked tails too. Have some in the garage for the Teg, but it was that spray on shit. Instead of the glossy look, it's more of a flat black. I didn't like them on the car at all.

Yeah its pretty much all back together except for the bumpers and hood. I need to paint those, and I'm not in any rush right now. It runs great, and I can't complain. It runs COMPLETELY dry, not a sign of an oil leak anywhere. Guess replacing those little seals really does pay off

Well no exhaust today, I did re adjust the ride height though so its not sitting on the ground haha

injen-yeah there comes a point when a car is too low lol cant even clear the downpipe getting onto the trailer

Haha, yea having a stock car does have it's advantages. Every time I drive my Mom's Jetta I half wish I had a car that had a quiet interior. It's so much nicer for when you're trying to have a conversation going down the freeway. I'm still pondering whether or not I want to get some sound insulation for my car... probably add like 25-50lbs but eh, I think it would be worth it.

Oh yea, I'm so looking forward to a meet. Sometime in the Spring maybe? I want to ride in your car, I've never been in a Civic with that kind of power. Should see if we can get a few of the other WA to locals to show up.

I get the same thing when I ride in my dad's Accord. I'll probably end up getting a Civic or something that is bone stock as a DD. Sound insulation would also be an option in my car.. but I doubt that'd really help with straight 3" (except a cat of course).

I think we should do the same. Late spring would work great for me, just in case I have to try to make it over the pass or something. I'll definitely take you for a ride at some point, I just hope I can get all the little things tied up here pretty quick before the weather gets shitty

Hell yeah, I think it was about 40 degrees at noon today. Not too much fun if you ask me. But still, I think there's hope of taking this thing for a rip before it gets too nasty

matt!!i need some help
trying to do timing,set the crank pulley to TDC,set the cams to the up position,
now do i put the belt on the exhaust cam first??
and ten what do i do??

Haha, np on the thread jack.

1- Get the belt on (doesn't really matter which order you do this)
2- WITH THE TENSIONER LOOSE, turn the engine ~3 teeth in the COUNTERCLOCKWISE direction.
3-You will see the slack in the belt shift, after this happens then go ahead and tighten the tensioner,the tension should be on the long side of the belt (front of car/exh manifold)
