Swap Maintance

I was reading a post and someone said that they spent 1g in one month trying to fix thier swap. I was planning on doing B18c1 swap into a 1992-95 hatchback and wanted to know how relible is the swap. What i mean is will the new engine run, work the same as the old or will things constently be breaking and have to be fixed.

It is a motor,so whether or not it is in the car it came in,maintance will depend on the engine and how it was treated before it went in.
