Occupy Eugene is still going over here. I guess they have a deadline in place to clear out or the police will clear them out.

They've basically gone from protesting corporate greed and bought politics to demanding the city fund the construction of a "village" for the homeless...
 
If legislators truly understood the dynamics of capitalism, regulation could be used to enhance the outcome.
That's the thing. Legislation should not promote nor hinder the economy. It should be there to only protect against fraud and force.

I have not. I would need to read the story and other facts surrounding the story to make an argument.

And of course this is debatable.
 
Because that's not capitalism. thats like facism or something. It will never promote evenly- and will focus more to the bigger firms, and we end up with 'too big to fail' crap all over again.
