Wuss.

dont give me that shit, i just drove to canada and back this weekend.

the problem is getting temp plates.

you can't get a temp plate for ct for a non ct titled car.
so, he'd have to find a dmv in md, and get the templ plate there.
BUT, insurnace is state-based as well. his policy is in ct, not md. so the md dmv won't give him a temp reg because the insurance isn't right.

it's a total pain in the ass to buy a car out of state here, unless the guy delivers it, you tow it home, or he lets you drive the car home on his plate.

i had my 2.5rs delivered to me from mass.
i had my civic delivered to me from cory from pa.

my ex had an a4 1.8t quattro, so i know what i'm getting into. for the 214324the time, i'm NOT looking for power. I'm looking for something a little more fun to drive and better on gas than my truck, but still useful in the winter.

Loving the 04 Audi 1.8T so far. Not driving as conservative but still getting 27mpg, could get more if I drove the way i did when gas was $4+/g but Hell i'm a spirited driver. +

You should rock one man.

We should start a pool on when he will decide and what he will end up getting. My money is that B will end up rocking a Vespa. :D

logically, he should just put the money into the truck...pay more of it off, and possible get the lien taken off of it, $4-5K's could prolly do it if he bought it $8K's...

The gas prices now, is affordable...and for using it on the winter months...Dec-April...gas should only really cost him about $80-100 a week, 5 months, 24 weeks+ 2400 max...the price to insure, register, tag, and property taxes will be more for getting a decent little car for $4000+ can get him...fun or not, just getting to work is the deal.

My brother's looking at a '99 328i for about $9k, but it's got over 100,000 miles. :p
thats very pricey. i see 328is go for 7500 all day long with less miles.

keep looking.

89 325ix FTW.... i wish i didnt pass on the last one I came across :(

looked at a few. they are hard to find, and really overpriced for what they are. :/ plus, they barely break 22mph highway. heavy pigs.

I think B will decide after winter is over. Then he'll just get another M. lol.
i won't be getting another M (at least as long as i own this one)
