No, it says nothing about how mutation only causes deformity. How on earth do you think sickle cell anemia came about? It's beneficial in the heterozygote in areas with high occurance of malaria. If you believe that micro-evolution is wrong, come up with something to disprove it, don't spout the same bullshit that every bible-thumping contradicting fool comes up with.

lighter skincolor in areas with lower UV radiation (vitamin production anyone?)

sickle-cell anemia came about becasue of a genetic deformity. the dna lost genetic code. how does it prove evolution, where did the organism become more complex?

this is only caused because our bodies produce a chmical called melanin. a persons gentic code haas a prest amount of melanin that can be prduced. when two people who have high levels of melanin production mate, their offspring will also have a high level of melanin production. the reverse is true as well.
but the question is, is this beneficial? does it really prove evolution? does the genetic code become more complex because it has to create more melanin?
the answer is no. it doesn't even effect reproduction, which is why white people can mate with black people and produce offspring. if it were evolution this would not be possible, because the weaker species would have to die off.

Saturnboy, just stop, you're like a kid trying to prove the tooth fairy left the money under your pillow. Sorry to inform you, religion is the toothfairy, it's just a belief, there is even less evidence of the crap you're try to cram down everyones throat then there is of aliens. As a matter of fact, given the scope of the universe, "aliens" are a more plausible belief than some entity that created everything and then allows the things to happen that do. I mean really, try telling the two month old babies that get cooked in microwaves by their crackhead parents about your "god". Or maybe he just forgot about the starving children of the world because they were born in the wrong part of the world and christianity forgot about them, or better yet decided they weren't good enough to be "saved". Maybe you can explain your bullshit to the billions that have suffered over the centuries at the hands of dictators, kings, tribal leaders, famine, war, inhumane levels of aimless violence, that there is a "god" that loves man so much. Fuck that, crawl back under your sheltered little rock, and worship your fucking myth.

Time to get back to the real subject.....ARE WE ALONE????
the universe is to big to actually contain only one planet with intellegent life forms....I am a firm believer that the other planets that are classified as environmentally liveable, do exist......and other planets that are simular, but have richer chemicals in the atmosphere...can contain a life form that can evolve just as much as we did......and is it possible that we might have been visited by them?
Maybe the Adam and Eve theory might be correct...they were prolly just pets left behind as a study to the higher life forms that left them.....
Seeing that this post has made us think a little....
Some other topics to post would be......
Chicken or the egg...what came first?
Time travel...is it possible?
Space...did we really go to the moon....?

I think there is SOMETHING that started everything out. I dunno if it's name is God, or Lucy, or even Earl. Who knows. What I do believe in is the fact that everything was started and just developed, like God tipped the first domino on a HUGE table with domino's set up randomly everywhere. Many strains went on growing faster and faster, but many of them (dinosaurs, dodo, etc) didn't play out, and the last domino fell for that strain.

I don't believe in fairytales, pegasus, budda, comics aren't real, santa doesn't exist, you can't eat a tablespoon of cinnamon in one mouthful, etc...

Then what would you call evolution, im not trying to flame you, but there really is no "proof" that we evolved - on the same hand, there is no "proof" aside from the Bible (which is discredited by evolutionists) that God created us.
This argument will continue to go on forever - Nobody has ever seen a species turn into another species, and the fossil record doesnt speak for evolution in the least. But then again, the Bible says that God reveals Himself through his creation - all that is around us, trees, people, animals - but even that cannot be considered evidence to an evolutionist, because all that stuff came from somewhere else, which came from somewhere else and so on . . . .
IMO it takes a lot more faith to believe in the simultaineous reaction of "stuff" (which must have come from some other reaction obviosly) that created a world in which WE exist.

if you can think there is any basis kfor truth in that theory, for which no physical evidence exists, then why is it so much harder to belive that God created us all.
