If you weren't a fan of the S2000 seats, you probably wouldn't like the RSX seats either. The side bolsters stick up a lot, so if you're a bigger person, you may not find them comfortable.

Well, that's the Type-S ones anyway. I don't know what the base ones are like.

I feel like I might be the size of a "bigger" japanese person. 6'1" and 185 pounds. So I felt like both of those seats fit me great. del sol seats are great if you are looking for a decent seat on a budge. They are wider and don't have the strong bolsters.

Yeah, height is not really the problem with the RSX or S2K seats. I was basically trying to tactfully say "If you've got a big butt and a flabby back, RSX seats probably won't feel very nice", lol.

Exactly. I had them in my Civic coupe and felt like I was riding on the ground. If you put some sort of lift below the bolts or something. hell, idk. do whatever. lol

So in my spare time and after work these last couple weeks I've been drilling and grinding and cutting and trimming and blargh. Replacing part of one of the frame rails right now, then I can clamp in the new core support and weld it in and consider the body end of it "done" besides some paintwork.

So, question to you guys. What color should I coat the wheels? The front right wheel has a blemish where it was repaired once and generally you can just see the age on the rims so I figured i'd just paint them and call it a day (I love the painted look anyways). The white on yellow thing really doesn't interest me at all, but I did do something in NFSMW (that's right, I have a yellow Integra in my video game too. I'm pitiful) where I did a medium brown on the wheels with red calipers and it looks pretty crispy. Any color combo with the yellow you guys like? (also considered a powder blue or even pink [my mom is a breast cancer survivor])

On the bright side the shop building my motor just sent me some pics which i'll post below.

My boy Keith at the engine shop was doing a 3 angle grind and discovered I had a bent valve so thats a setback timewise. It could have been done tomorrow, but I still don't have the shell ready so it is what it is. I almost bought a 1997 Integra RS smashed front and rear with a running B18B1 married to a manual tranny with 147k. Interior was clean and it had some nice wheels. Was hoping to get it at auction for 500 and it sold for 600, but it's Tampa and there is rice everywhere. I might start buying and parting out wrecked Honda stuff because the market here is so big.

Yeah... It's a shame the Honda community is what it is. But if I can do most of it online and have the other stuff as pick-up only from my dads shop it could be safe I think.

Worked 13 hours today, 9 for the shop and 4 on my car. Chipotle for lunch and beer and pizza for dinner, no complaints.

Stripping the engine bay for paint which is a MONUMENTAL pain. got the wiring harness on the drivers side out and the one on the passengers side is mostly loose. I found this when I was wedged up under the dash disconnecting wires

I looked inside the ECU and it looked stock but there was a "copywrite 2001" on it which I thought was weird since its a 1996. It also had the aftermarket-looking wire connector and the sticker said "PHEARABLE.NET ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION TUNER". If anybody can make sense of it I'd appreciate it

That's a jumper harness. Like OBD2 chassis with an OBD1 ECU.

should be a sticker right on the ecu. it looks like an obd1 plug though, so likely a p75

It lets you run a 2001 ECU on a 1996 engine harness. the harness are different between those generation model years.

This is what you are looking for.

your engine and car year harness don't match up. If you tried to plug in the ECU without the jumper, the connectors wouldn't match.
