Pics of the accord will be up tomorrowAwesome progress on the Civic. Do you have pictures of the Accord?
I will take some more pics of the manifold tomorrow mangLookin good! Cant wait to see it come out after winter. You would happen to have more pics of how you braced the manifold would you?
I spent 800$ in supplies. Plus the cost of a gun. It was more labor than anything though.shit dude this makes my black ek look like a complete beater. how much did you spend on the paint job?
haha. It does sit pretty low. I'm going to try and get it tucked up inside the car anlittle better this winter.Thats a big fucking intercooler. Mighty low to the ground though might just be the grass.
Well, already trashed that idea. I think the reason I was going to do it is because I was frustrated with the look of the paint at the moment. But.. I decided to pop and buy one of these:

I've read a million reviews on it, so far the general consensus is that you get rotary-quality results with a far easier and more comfortable to use machine. I'm excited. I bought the kit with like 5 different pad sets as well. Can't wait to hit my car with it... and I'm sure some of my buddies' cars too![]()
Thanks mang, I'm glad to finally be almost to the end with this thing. At least all the hard work is done. I can't seem to get out of the driver's seat haha.. it's a blast to drive.I havent had alot to say on your build or anything. But I am glad to see that you did not abandon it and are going to finish it to the end. Sometimes shit happens, more times then not. Must be murphy's law or something. But the important thing is to never give up on something that is your passion. Props for sticking through the hard times and getting it finished up!
I got the polisher off of eBay. It's called a Cyclo polisher.. made by Cyclo tools inc. I did a lot of research on detailing forums and a lot of guys were saying that this polisher out performed their rotary polishers (makita, porter cable, etc) day in and day out, especially on black finishes.Where did you get this polisher from? I am curious, I have never seen one before. I feel you on buffing black, it is a pita. Even with good dupont clear I have to buff that shit hard and get it hot to make it look like that. I usually wait at least a few days to buff fresh black to avoid burning the clear to make it look like I want.
Yes, either an OEM one with the intercooler properly mounted, or a walker japan bumper. Is there a front bumper that will clear that IC?
Not sure what I'm doing yet. OEM bumper might be in the works, but a walker japan bumper is more likely at this point.i think he was looking into an airwalker or something like that, maybe BYS
pix of the thermal?

like do i have to do all this postwork?
