set up B16A2 block w/ 1995 gsr head. type r cams. cars idles at 3000 rmp and stays there in neutral. when i put it in gears the idle drops back to normal. what would be the cause of this and how can i fix it

i just change my passenger side axel and put everything in and the car doesn't drive. when i put it in first gear and give it some gas the side of the axel that goes in the trany grinds really bad and the car doesn't move at all. It does the same thing in reverse. I think i did everything right...

i need some help on finding out why my engine is losing oil every week. i have to add a quart of oil every week because it keeps on geting low. i am using Mobil1 syntheic 5w30. the motor is a USDM 2001 ITR. any one got a list of things for me to check so i can resolve this problem?
