I've weighed the benefits and risks. I've decided it's not worth it to pull over for a cop anymore. Yesterday on my evening commute, I was in the left lane of a two lane highway. Guy in the fast lane just comes into my lane. We were doing about 20. I didn't panic, I got over into the breakdown lane and proceeded to spew verbal insults at him. Then the state cop's lights come on. "Alright!" I think "Finally ! Someone is going to bust a car that tried to kill me!" Cops gets up behind us, I pull over. Car keeps going. Cop winds up pulling me over. (Remove the whole story of my 1 hour 15 minute wait) I wind up getting a $103 ticket for "improper use of lanes". So I know what it's like to get pulled over on a hyperbike, and I've made a rational decision. Next time, I'm booting it and getting the fuck out of dodge.
