Yes they are real hids lol the head light housings i have are projectors, i got xenon ballast and 8k kelvin bulbs

I allready know about the useable light rating in kelvin, I got the set because they were at a local "joker audio" shop closing out and I got the h4 kit for $20.99, still a CRAZY difference over conventional bulbs, and ive got the upgraded charging system , it the hids make LESS of a draw on my charging system than the old bulbs, I made my own grounds for the ballast and used the stock harness for everything else, they work great, quit giving me shit over little things

It's not about power draw or useable light. Or anything like that.

It's about being an asshat and blinding everyone in oncoming traffic with your illegal headlights that don't have proper beam control.
