im trying to strip down my new b18 block and im having trouble finding out how to remove the crank without the tranny being on and in gear in order to stop it from spinning when i turn it. are there any ways to do this or do i need the tranny? thanks in advance

i picked up the b18a1 today! i got block/head/intake mani/ecu/distributer and as a bonus i got a b16 dizzy. all for 300 bucks! i plan on taking it to the local block shop and having it acid dipped and checked for cracks, hopefully get a little port n polish work and then look for my tranny/axels...
